Aberdeen Exhibition Centre
Monoplan 100S; 53dB; laminate finish.
This 32 metre long x 6.9 metre high wall is used to divide a large conference hall as required. The wall consists of 25 panels which park in 4 stacks, 2 to either side of the hall. Two of the panels incorporate pass doors. The total weight of the system is 12.5 tonnes. This weight causes the main supporting beam to deflect up to 35mm, however, the system is designed to tolerate this and perform to specification.

Our moveable wall is one element in this award winning project which involved creating within the church, multi function space for parish & local community use. The Monoplan wall sections off an inner lobby under the ‘Ark’ which may be opened to allow more congregation space.

This is one of a number of walls installed at this location. The panels shown have a single central roller which enables them to be parked to one or both sides of the opening.

The Monoplan Vision gives all the acoustic benefits of operable top and bottom seals plus vertical male and female edge profiles, whilst providing as much glass area as possible with minimum sight lines. The system has achieved amazing 41dB room to room sound reduction in a recent on site test.
As with the standard Monoplan the system is top hung without the need for a floor track and can be parked in a variety of locations.

The Auction House
The recently completed installation of a floor supported Monoplan Moveable Wall at the 'Auction House' Banqueting and Conference venue in Luton has proved to be a valuable asset to our client allowing them acoustically divide their main suite and host simultaneous events when required.
When a single large floor area is required the wall panels are parked away in a far corner of the function suite.
